2019

  • Developed and delivered 'Access All Areas: Health', a community consultation and workplace training project around challenges faced by People with Disabilities accessing health services supported by the NDIA Information Linkages and Capacity Building program. 

  • Developed and delivered 'Access All Areas: Justice', a community consultation and workplace training project around challenges faced by People with Disabilities accessing justice services supported by the NDIA Information Linkages and Capacity Building program. 

  • Delivered Drama Classes for people with and without Disabilities through L'Arche Genesaret at The Hub in Phillip

  • Successful Application for ArtsACT funding for 'A Tender Thing', an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet developed and performed by a mixed ability cast.

  • Delivered 'Bridges or Barricades' Forum Theatre development program for students of Telopia Park School in partnership with Multicultural Youth Services 

  • Invited to present at 'Festival of Ambitious Ideas'

  • Presented on a panel for students of Mill House Ventures Social Accelerator program

  • Invitation to present Arts Activated Festival in Sydney

  • Led a drama workshop for LGBTQIA+  young people at Aids Action Council's Encampment weekend

2018

  • Developed and delivered "Open Doors Open Minds", a community education project around challenges faced by People with Disabilities accessing community groups supported by the NDIA Information Linkages and Capacity Building program. 

  • Won 2018 'Excellence in Championing Human Rights' & 'Chief Minister's Award for Excellence' ACT Inclusion Awards for 'Open Doors Open Minds'.

  • Successful Application for ArtsACT funding for creative development and performance of 'Moving Climates' a multidisciplinary artistic exploration based on interviews with scientists working on Climate Change about their feelings around their work and the community response to it. 

  • Successful application for an NDIA Information Linkages and Capacity Building Grant to deliver "Access All Areas", a community consultation and workplace training project around challenges faced by People with Disabilities accessing Health, Justice, and Transport Services. 

  • Delivered Drama Classes for people with and without Disabilities through L'Arche Geneseret at The Hub in Phillip

  • Delivered Acting and Performance Stream of Australian Defence Force ARRTS program running Theatre Workshops for soldiers with Physical and Psychological Injury

  • Led a drama workshop for LGBTQIA+  young people at Aids Action Council's Encampment weekend

2017

  • Delivered Drama Classes for people with and without Disabilities through L'Arche Geneseret at The Hub in Phillip

  • Delivered Drama Classes for young people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds in partnership with Multicultural Youth Services

  • Delivered 'Bridges or Barricades' Forum Theatre development program for students of Kingsford Smith High School in partnership with Multicultural Youth Services 

  • Led a weekend drama workshop for young people with out of home care experience with Create Foundation

  • New Partnership and office move to Gorman Arts Centre

2016

  • Developed and performed "Fractured" - New devised work surrounding the effects of Trauma on everyday life in partnership with the Mental Health Foundation funded by ArtsACT

  • Delivered Acting and Performance Stream of Australian Defence Force ARRTS program running Theatre Workshops for soldiers with Physical and Psychological Injury

  • Produced and Performed "All In" - a collaborative variety show for IDAY at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre funded by ArtsACT

  • Everyone Everyday Program, Forum Theatre surrounding disability in schools in partnership with Disability ACT

  • Theatre program for young people about inclusion surrounding Race, Faith, and Culture in partnership with Tuggeranong Arts Centre

  • IGNITE Theatre project, Belconnen Arts Centre

  • Continued Partnership with Tuggeranong Arts Centre

2015

  • Creative Producer Cara Matthews was the winner of the Chief Minister's "Excellence in Inclusion Award", Parliament House

  • Nominated for National Disability Awards, and Chief Ministers Inclusion Awards

  • Toured workplace training shows to Melbourne Fringe Festival September 29 & 30 more info here

  • National Disability Insurance Agency, Back to Back Theatre, Geelong

  • Led a theatre design workshop for people with and without disabilities with Christiane Nowak in partnership with Tuggeranong Arts Centre

  • Led IGNITE Theatre project, Belconnen Arts Centre

  • Delivered Everyone Everyday Program, Disability ACT funded Forum Theatre in schools project
