Planning begins for 'Access All Areas'
Earlier this year, we found out that we were successful in securing another round of funding from the National Disability Insurance Agency's (NDIA) Information, Linkages and Capacity building (ILC) Program to deliver "Access All Areas".
For this project we will develop three separate Forum Theatre shows around the challenges faced by people with disability in accessing the Health, Justice and Transport services respectively, over the next two years. These shows will feature casts of people with disability, who have lived experience of these issues, and be delivered as workplace training to employees of the relevant organisations in these sectors.
We have begun community consultations for our first show, focussing on health services via an online survey you can fill out here. We are also looking for actors with disabilities to be involved in the project. If you or someone you know would be interested in an acting role click here for more information, or please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
