From Page to Stage – Enrol now for term 3
“Lines are learnt, costumes are on, audience members chat as they take their seats. The actors wait in the wings for the performance to begin. Eyes glistening with excitement, some take deep breaths to help overcome nerves, others sit patiently – so ready. Music fills the room and the audience chatter dissipates. The actors take to the stage.”
This is an excerpt from a blog post entitled ‘From Page to Stage’ by Heidi Silberman, an actor, writer and director who teaches our inclusive NDIS approved Drama Classes for people of all abilities at The Hub in Phillip. These classes are now open for Term 3 enrolments.

This course is designed to build confidence, make new friends, and learn acting and performance skills in our person-centred drama program. As well as teaching physical, vocal, writing and musical skills, we will do our best to identify the specific goals and strengths of each student so they can reach their fullest potential in our end of term performance.
Run by Rebus, an award-winning local theatre company made up of people with and without disabilities, our classes require no previous acting experience. We will play drama games that develop physical and mental awareness, as well as exercise our imaginations while developing different characters as we devise our own play as a group.
Express your interest here if you or someone you care for would be interested in joining our classes!
Course fee for NDIS participants is $180 with the additional Group Based Activity in a Centre fees. L’Arche Genesaret is an NDIS provider. NDIS participants may be able to claim some of the fees associated with this program depending on their goals and plan.
Course fee for non-NDIS participants is $375 per term. You are welcome to trial the class before signing up.
